Well after several years of using Twitter only sporadically or for news feeds for the eLearning app, I decided to create a completely new Twitter account for my Spanish, language, family, and Latin American tweets. As my other account is dedicated to software development issues, I don't think too many of you would find that material very interesting :) So please update to the username MusicalSpanish (after my first book :) The link is on the side of the blog as well as here: MusicalSpanish Twitter Account
The iPad is the reason I've returned to Twitter; mainly the fantastic FlipBoard news and social media reader. This app turns your own Tweet feed, or those of others you follow - into a lovely magazine, where the links posted are displayed as pages in your magazine, with article content and images, even videos. It is a super cool way to track information you are interested in, especially if you follow some people who are avidly posting good material. I personally find that watching the actual Twitter feed drives me 1/2 nuts, so I probaby won't be looking too much at actual comments, unless they contain links (that way they show up in my Flipboard app).
I have so much I'd like to say right now, and so much I'd like to post about! If you click on my profile, you'll see that I will also be posting about religion, which of course is not exactly politically correct...but these are issues I am very interested in, and as an Anglo Catholic woman (Episcopalian who has strong Catholic tendencies, in case you've never hears that term!) - there are quite a few religious issues I follow online, and I'd like to post these to my Twitter feed. If that is not for you then I'm sorry about that :)
I hope I get the time soon to write about the iPad apps my kids are using and loving, as well as some trends in eLearning that look fantastic. I've also made great progress on my Spanish Phonics activity, and should have it live for all of the Kids activities soon. Hope to see some of you on Twitter!
